Welcome

My name is Andy Williams and before starting my own business I had a long career (38 years, in fact) with British Telecommunications Plc (BT), where I became one of their trainers. After leaving BT I gained further teaching qualifications, and ran my own business, Adwaen Photography and Training, for a few years. There I specialised in photographing local events, landscape and wildlife, as well as teaching the basics of photography. I also taught computer skills on both Windows and Mac systems. I was a member of the Royal Photographic Society and the Leicester People’s Photographic Gallery.

Since March 2018 I closed my business due to age and health issues such as ongoing epilepsy and a heart attack which occurred in 2010. So I am now retired. I still practice the relaxation therapy that I have been taught and I am sure this has played a significant part in my recovery. As of June 2019 I also became a member of a local U3A (University of the 3rd Age). There is always knowledge to be gained and shared!
